A football institution with professional management, planning and a focus on results: this is Coritiba, a club of uncountable glory. With the most victorious in Paraná, three years ago the club initiated an extensive restructuring process to transform itself into a modern and professional organization. The results both on and off the field represent a new milestone in the history of the Club.
In all, there are over 500 people, among athletes, employees and outsourced staff, who continue the quest for better results on and off the field, aimed at making the club ever stronger and victorious. The Administrative Board, elected for the period from 2012-2014, is presided over my Vilson Ribeiro de Andrade. Under the command of the president are the Superintendency of Football and the Administrative Superintendency, occupied by market professionals that are responsible club management.
In football actions, the club relies on planning and a continuity project, a formula that has thus far brought to the club from Alto da Glória titles in a range of categories; confirmation of regional supremacy with the unbeaten conquest of the Paraná State Championship in 2011; world record of 24 straight wins and regular campaigns in recent seasons, in the Brazil Cup and Brazilian Championship.
In constant evolution and striving for enhancement, the patrimony of Coxa is the pride of its members and fans. The club has its own stadium and a training center (TC) with excellent conditions for its athletes. It has recently acquired a new piece of land that will serve for the construction of a new TC, one of the most modern in Latin America. Furthermore, the more than one million fans in Paraná and the rest of Brazil and the current associated supporter base of 30,000 people are, without doubt, Coritiba's greatest asset.
With the future in mind, Coxa has established firm long-term goals and is committed to consolidating its management model and having a more competitive team so as to carry its colors, symbols and grandeur even further.
